2009 City of Spokane Arts Awards
The Spokane Arts Commission announces an open call for nominations for the 2009 City of Spokane Arts Awards . The
18th Annual Arts Awards will be presented in six categories during a public meeting of the Spokane City Council
Monday , October 5th at 6pm. A reception will be held following the presentation to honor this year’s nominees and
recipients.
Individuals , organizations and businesses are encouraged to nominate candidates for these awards in the following
categories: Individual Artist; Arts Organization; Arts in Education; Individual Benefactor; Business Benefactor; and
Arts Community Leadership.
Arts Awards nomination forms are available at www.spokanearts.org/awards.aspx or in the Chase Gallery , lower level of
City Hall at 808 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. You may also nominate online at http://spokanearts.spokanetonight.com.
Deadline for submission is August 7 , 2009.
